These photos are entirely in the wrong order! I still have not got to grips with adding photos in the correct order in Blogging! If any of my dear readers ( if there are any!!) can point me in the right direction with this problem I will be eternally grateful.Above is the "flat" bit of embroidery for the box lid. This is a design from the wonderful book
A-Z of Stumpwork , the original is a design by Alison Cole which I am adapting slightly. It is a water lily in case anyone asks :-) The gold petals are in gold kid leather.
This is the raised waterlily leaf complete ready to add to the main piece
This is the leaf with the outline buttonholed over the couched wire, with a line of split stem stitch around the inside of the buttonhole
This is the box carcase. The next task will be to do six detached petals for the water lily which I will tackle this week.On the quilting front I will be doing the extra bag fior the BQL Bag challenge having finished December's one in record time, I might gather all the bags together for a photo to add the the blog!
Off for a walk around the loch before the daylight fades,

Yes it's tricky sometimes! I just try to remember to put them up in reverse order but get it wrong and have to re do them now and again. Another trick, is to press the html button at the top right of the posting box (its got a tab next to the "compose" tab)and turn all the pictures into a mass of unintelligible letters. You can then highlight the one you want to move by putting the mouse over it's letters and keeping the button pressed as you move the mouse along. Keep going until all the relevant bit turns blue. Go to the Edit button at the top of your screen and press Copy.
Click the mouse on the new place you want your photo to be. Go back to Edit, and press Copy. Hey presto the letters appear in a new place.
To turn it all back into pictures and not letters:
Press on the compose tab at the top right of your screen and the letters turn back into photos. It's easy to remove the unwanted photo either by deleting all those letters you've hightlighted,(when they're still blue, you can press delete) or if youre in the compose mode, simply click on the photo and press delete.
Hope that's intelligible but if not, email and I'll try harder!

Many thanks for the instructions, I rather thought that that is what I should be doing!
I will keep all these in mind for the next time!
