What "have" I been doing!

What have I been doing instead of blogging all these weeks? Catching up with all things domestic and quilty!

I have had a really good "going" at some UFOs, have been to a couple of workshops of which more anon, joined a quilt group in the next village which meets on a Thursday morning, where we do our own thing as well as work on group charity quilts.

Bulb planting took up a lot of this weekend in the garden and all the usual winter things such as concerts WRI, Paisley Patchers quilt group etc. have re-started, so time has disappeared in a flash which is a trifle disconcerting!

One of the workshops this session is a monthly meet to make a Jacobean Applique/trapunto quilt. We have one of the trapunto blocks finished ( it is a quilt-as-you-go method ) and this past saturday was the first applique one--------spent the day fusing so have just the stoitch around and the layer and quilt.

Photos will follow sometime!
