The March Quiltlette challenge is to incorporate a photo into the design, my effort is above. As I am making each month's quilt reflect on what is growing in the garden, the photo is of the Tete-a-Tete daffodils growing just under the dining room window. The quilting, I hope, looks like a vine with leaves. The colours chose reflect those in the photo.Yesterday was one of these magical spring days with wall-to-wall blue sky and a glorious warming sun, so we had a gardening afternoon when I got the roses pruned and more of the winter's gunge cleared from the herbaceous border. Today is of course back to the gloom and damp! I think yesterday must have spurred my tidying genes as I spent today having a good blitz in the sewing room--------it really is amazing what you find in the corners that you had forgotten you had !
