Waves

Here is my first "Wave" it has been painted and puffed using "Liquid Applique". More puff will be added when I get the stuff through the post. I will be adding more "puff" to the foamy parts of the wave with "Xpandaprint" and Pebeo expandable paint.
On another piece I have also been trying the tutor's other method of waves using tucks and after an initial confusion with the instructions I think I have now got the message! "Foam" will be added to that using free form embroidery done with water soluble stabiliser.

At long last we seem to be having some dry warmish weather which perhaps will last at least two days in sucession , but I am not holding my breath! Lots of gardening got done on Sunday and weeds banished and grass cut. The garden is at that sort of in between time with the summer flowers fading and the autumn ones still to come to their glory.
